REFUND POLICY

Shipping Policy (Retail)

The Athlete's Kitchen orders are packed with care and shipped out of Atlanta, Georgia or delivered personally to different locations. We partner with UPS, USPS and FedEx to handle timely delivery of your order. All orders will be fulfilled in 24-48 hours but exceptions may apply, such as pre-orders and peak season capacity.

We offer ground service shipping for a $7.00 flat rate and free ground shipping on orders over $75.00.  Due to the nature of our temperature sensitive products, the flat rate and free shipping minimum applies to the 48 contiguous states. Additional rates will be applied to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.  At the time of check out, expedited shipping services are available at the customer’s expense. (2 day shipping and next day shipping) 

 

Warm Weather Shipping

During the warm weather months, all TAK orders will be shipped with non-toxic ice packs and eco-friendly insulating material. While we will do our best to ensure you product is delivered safely and on time, there may be factors such as extreme weather or shipping delays out of our control. During these warm months we plan to ship Monday through Wednesday at our discretion, to avoid your package sitting with our carrier over the weekend. We encourage all customers to purchase Route Shipping Insurance at checkout to ensure protection against melted, damaged, or lost products. All refund and re-ship requests for insured packages are handled by Route Insurance. The Athlete's Kitchen is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen packages that are not insured at the time of purchase. We also offer expedited shipping options at the customer’s expense, which is highly recommended if your order is being delivered to a warmer climate.

Please track your package closely to ensure once delivered it is not sitting out in the heat for an additional period of time.

 

Route Protection

The Athlete's Kitchen currently offers Route protection for all orders at the time of check out. For orders under $100 the cost for insurance is $1.35. For orders over $100, the cost for insurance with be 1.5% of the order value. Please note Route insurance only covers the value of the product, shipping expenses will not be covered in a refund. If you opt to have your order re-shipped, you will not be charged for additional shipping. Before disposing of damaged products, please document the damage with photographs.
